Zoë Souvay

A Soviet cosmonaut is sent to space.
Successive failures cut him from its base.
Condemned to die, he meets the ghost of Laïka, a cosmonaut dog coming to accompany him to the afterlife and make peace with his own passing.

I was responsible for some of the concept art, the storyboard and part of the animation. The main challenge was to convey the powerful emotions of the narrative through the character's subtle expressions.
